What we do

Thank you for your support of the East Milton Neighborhood Association. Your support allows us to keep you informed of meetings that affect the neighborhood and helps to fund initiatives like the Manning Community Service Award and the new granite bench at Crane Field. With your help, we have also been able to advocate for the following:

Creation of a 25mph zone throughout the entire town
Designation of the Railway Village Historic District in East Milton
Safety improvements to the stairway at the Granite Place entrance to Andrews Park
Improved signage and lights at the crosswalks on Adams Street and the crosswalk on Pleasant Street behind Collicot/Cunningham schools
Snow removal of sidewalks on Bassett Street
Extension of fencing along the new sidewalk on Granite Street overlooking the expressway

Our other projects include:

Annual presentation of the Honorable M. Joseph Manning Award for community service.
Email updates on meetings and projects that impact the neighborhood
Civic donations to the parks and schools

The Manning Award for Community Service, named in honor of the late Representative M. Joseph Manning, has been presented to an outstanding member of the Milton community, in recognition for their service.

Past winners of the Manning Award include Katherine Haynes Dunphy, John Fleming, Heather Bergin, Shelly Davis, Ed Duffy (posthumously), Robert Sweeney, Kevin Olivieri, and Daniel and Ann Louise Sullivan, and Maritta Cronin.
